Jordan Thomas joins Torquay United
New loan recruit for Torquay United
Torquay United manager Paul Wotton has dipped back into the loan market with the signing of attacking full-back Jordan Thomas from Yeovil Town until the end of the season.
After another injury setback for Finley Craske, Thomas signed in time for inclusion in the squad for Saturday’s FA Trophy clash with Truro City and extends the loan roster at Plainmoor to four players (Thomas, Will Jenkins Davies, Finn Tonks and Keke Jeffers).
The 23 year-old began his career with Norwich City and made his Premier League debut against Manchester City, later moving to Leyton Orient on loan.
The London-born right-back then made a permanent switch to Barnet, where he spent two seasons before joining Hampton & Richmond Borough, playing a full part in their National League South campaign last year.
Thomas signed for Yeovil in the summer but then briefly moved on loan to Salisbury City. He will wear number 26 at Plainmoor.
