The final regatta of the nine regatta Coastal Rowing League was hosted by the Torquay Rowing Club attracting a large entry. The Pier to Pier Regatta provided extremely calm conditions on a fine day which produced some exciting racing. The club set two courses for different categories over either four or six kilometres.

Torquay had a good representation with some fine results. Barbara Mears, excelled again in the Women’s single sculls 60+ winning her race; the Junior crew of Vensan Crushcov, Ollie Payne, Mason Payne, and Will Jackson-Heritage won their race; Jane Nicholls and Barbara Mears were second in the Women’s Double sculls 50+; and the Novice crew of Sally Baxter, Ann Ashworth, Michele Sandhu and Susie Payne were third in their race.
