Celebration of Torquay United history on Friday, December 13
Greats from the Torquay United past will gather together at Plainmoor on Friday, December 13….and you are invited!
In celebration of more than 50 years of reporting on the Gulls, we handed the ultimate responsibility to Dave Thomas. After much contemplation and digging in the memory banks of more than 2,200 games, Dave has embarked on the task of naming his greatest Torquay United team.
Over the course of the next two months, Dave will run through all the key positions to discuss the leading candidates, starting with the goalkeepers, right-backs, left-backs and so on, until we have all 11 positions considered, as well as the managerial genius selected to lead this collection of United icons.
The grand unveiling will take place in the Cove Restaurant at Plainmoor on Friday, December 13 and tickets are available to purchase from https://www.tickettailor.com/events/clearskypublishing/1440324
The Yellow Army is invited to sit alongside Dave and his heroes from the past, with a hot food buffet and the bar open for refreshments before we reveal the Ultimate Torquay United team…perfect preparation for the home game with Farnborough the next day.
