Torbay Tri Club member takes on the Grizzly
Mud, mud, glorious mud; the infamous Grizzly certainly lived up to its name this year with an extra serving of the sticky brown stuff alongside sapping hills and thigh-deep bogs.
The race was rather aptly titled ‘The Good, The Bad and The Grizzly’ and Chris Martin from Torbay Tri Club survived to tell the tale, navigating his way around the gruelling 20 mile course in 4.12.06.
Taking part in the shorter nine-mile Cub race, Simon Johnson remembered the route he's raced so many times previously to claim a top twenty finish, and third place in his age group, in 1.24.55.
