Torquay juniors in the Devon tennis squad
Two juniors from Torquay Tennis Club have been selected to fly the flag for Devon in the Under 18s County Cup.
Ollie Sutton and Panoyat Popov join nine other boys from across the county who will represent Devon at the event from Friday, March 1 – Sunday, March 3.
The team has been drawn to play at home at the Exeter Tennis Centre - part of Exeter University - where they will play East of Scotland, South Wales and Buckinghamshire over the three days.
Praising the pair for their commitment, Steve Maslen, head coach and manager at Torquay Tennis Club, said: “It is great to see all of their hard work and dedication pay off. Both boys are very grounded and modest which, as well as being very talented, are lovely qualities to have.
“Everyone at the club is very proud and we wish them the best of luck.”
