Residents across Torbay and South Devon will have the opportunity to observe key healthcare discussions later this month, as Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust prepares to hold its latest Board meeting in public.
The Trust’s Board of Directors will meet on Thursday 26 March at 5pm, with members set to consider a paper on the future of Adult Social Care in Torbay. The meeting forms part of the organisation’s commitment to carrying out its formal business openly and transparently.
Members of the public are invited to observe proceedings, with the session being live streamed online. A joining link will be made available on the Trust’s website ahead of the meeting.
Those wishing to raise questions can do so in advance by emailing the Trust’s communications team: tsdft.communicationsteam@nhs.
Submissions must include ‘Board question’ in the subject line and be received by 12 noon on Wednesday 25 March. To help the meeting run smoothly, questions may be grouped by theme, with responses published online following the session.
Meeting papers will be released on Friday 20 March via the Trust’s website, where viewers will also be able to access the livestream and read responses to submitted questions after the event.
While the meeting is open to the public virtually, in-person attendance will be prioritised for Trust governors and representatives from Torbay Council to support the effective running of proceedings.
The Trust said it remains committed to keeping local communities informed about discussions and decisions affecting health and care services across Torbay and South Devon.
