Festival organisers are inviting Brixham residents and visitors to share their opinions on proposed road closures for the 2026 Brixham Pirate Festival.
The annual event, held over the early May bank holiday, features live music, market stalls, and twice-daily pirate re-enactments. Attendees are encouraged to dress as pirates, creating a lively, family-friendly atmosphere while showcasing Brixham to visitors.
To ensure public safety, organisers propose closing the following streets during the festival: King Street (from Moorings Reach to Fore Street), The Quay (from Rockfish), Middle Street (from no.10 to The Strand), The Strand, Fore Street, and Pump Street.
