The English Riviera Winter Open Art Exhibition is back for the festive season.
Running for six weeks right up until Christmas Eve, this year's collection includes works from South West Academicians and Devon selectees from the 2021 Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, as well as a curated selection of handmade ceramics and sculptural work from the English Riviera.
“We've had a great return to our programme this year thanks to the incredible support of artists and audiences, with our last open show, The English Riviera Summer Open Exhibition, the closest we've felt to "normal" since before the pandemic. With this in mind, we're looking to keep the momentum going with another great Winter Open show to celebrate the holiday season.” Julie Brandon, of the Artizan Gallery
Last year the exhibition was taken online. Artizan launched their own contribution to the international #ArtistSupportPledge campaign, which saw them reinvest proceeds from sales back into the work of local artists.
This year the gallery is pledging ten per cent of all sales to be reinvested into participating artists’ work. There are 80 artists and more than 300 pieces.
The exhibition runs until Christmas Eve, with extended openings to 7pm in the final week
