Paignton's Palace Hotel is 100 years old this year and it has been looking back on a community party in the summer sun as part of the celebrations.

It was a 'truly memorable event' that brought together guests, team members, and the wider community in a spirit of joy and togetherness.

The centenary celebration, held at the hotel itself, was filled with laughter, music, and a warm sense of occasion as guests enjoyed marking this significant milestone in the hotel’s history.

From the moment the festivities began, there was a genuine community feel, with both long-standing supporters and new friends coming together to share in the special day, which was also blessed with glorious sunshine.

General Manager Nizar reflected on the event saying: "Reaching 100 years is a huge achievement, not only for the hotel but for everyone who has been part of the hotel’s story over the years.

"This celebration was about more than just a birthday, it was about thanking the community, our guests, and our incredible team for their continued support.”

The event was made possible thanks to the fantastic support of local and national suppliers. The Palace Hotel team extended their gratitude, saying: "We’d also like to give a special thank you to the amazing suppliers who supported the event, including Brakes, Alliance, Otter, and Torbay Display. Their contributions truly helped bring the celebration to life.”

As the Palace Hotel Paignton looks forward to the next chapter in its story, the message was clear: “We’re proud to have reached this milestone with your support and look forward to creating many more memories together in the years to come.”
