A Paignton-based electrician is reintroducing itself to Torbay with a new name and identity.

As of February 1, Finish Electrical Ltd will officially be known as FELCO, a commercial electrical contractor offering a broad range of services.

Originally founded in 2013 as a sole trader business providing local electrical services, the company transitioned into a limited company in 2015 following rapid growth. By 2018, it had expanded to a team of 10, serving a wide range of domestic and commercial clients.

Under its new identity as FELCO, the company will continue to offer services including reactive repairs, testing, compliance services, and bespoke high-end installations. It specialises in ensuring electrical systems are not only functional but also compliant and efficient for clients across various industries.

The decision to rebrand reflects the company’s evolution and future ambitions.

A spokesperson for FELCO said: “While we’re proud of our roots, the new name and identity signal a renewed focus on commercial clients and compliance-driven services. The rebrand aligns with our vision to position FELCO as a leading name in the sector, emphasising quality, efficiency, and reliability. We are also hopeful that the rebranding will help push us into the public sector, which is an area we have been aiming towards for some time.

“We are increasingly focused on identifying what sets us apart from others: our ability to adapt and offer truly bespoke services tailored to our clients' unique needs. For example, we customise job sheets to align perfectly with their operations and systems, ensuring the information provided suits their requirements and helps them stay organised and compliant. This personalised approach is central to how we deliver value to our clients.”
