RNLI mascot Stormy Stan popped into Paignton's Morrisons store to say a special thankyou for their fund-raising efforts.

Morrisons provided Torbay Lifeboat Fundraisers with a two-day bucket collection in support of the Torbay Lifeboats.  It costs over £200,000 each year to keep the Bay's Lifeboats in first class condition together with providing the crews with their protective equipment and training.

Mascot Stormy Stan also awarded the store a certificate marking the £497.42p that was raised.

Torbay Lifeboat Fundraising chairman Peter Thorp said “The support Morrisons have been providing to us over recent years has been wonderful as has the generosity of the shopping public.

"Although our Lifeboats are moored in Brixham they provide emergency responses by our volunteer Crews 365 days of the year throughout the Torbay area and beyond.  We look forward to being invited back to the store during 2025.”
