Fatboy Slim will be a headliner at Electric Bay festival next year, festival organisers have announced.
61-year-old Norman Cook, otherwise known as Fatboy Slim, will play the main Saturday evening headline slot.
One of the most successful dance artists of all time, the funk-soul-brother star is the first act to be announced.
The English Riviera BID Company, in partnership with Louder Entertainment and Beatz n Bobz, announced the news this morning (November 28).
The seafront festival, set against the backdrop of Torre Abbey Meadows just steps from Torquay’s main beach, will take place between 12 and 13 of July 2025 and run from 12pm until 10.30pm.
Carolyn Custerson, CEO of English Riviera BID Company, said: “We are excited to welcome one of the biggest acts ever to perform in the English Riviera, with Fatboy Slim headlining Electric Bay this year.
“The excitement is palpable as we expect to host a crowd of 9,000 on Saturday night alone, showcasing the incredible potential of our region as a premier destination for major events. This festival is not just about great music; it’s also a significant boost for our local economy. An impact survey from the most recent festival revealed that Electric Bay generated over £1 million for the English Riviera, reinforcing its importance as a cornerstone of our summer season.”
Famous for hits including ‘Praise You,’ ‘Right Here, Right Now,’ ‘The Rockafeller Skank,’ and ‘Eat, Sleep, Rave, Repeat,’ Fatboy Slim has dominated the global dance music scene for almost a decade.
He famously attracted over a quarter of a million people to Brighton Beach in 2002 and since then has become a must-see performer at major festivals around the world.
His live shows are renowned for their high energy, dynamic visuals, and impeccable curation, making his Electric Bay Festival debut a standout event for next summer’s cultural calendar.
Tickets for Fatboy Slim’s headline date will go on sale exclusively to presale sign-ups at 10am on Tuesday 3rd December, with general sale beginning Wednesday 4th December.
