Two major Torquay developments complete

Lymington Enterprise Centre and Lymington Road coach station are both ready to go

Two major Torquay developments complete

Torbay Council has announced the completion of five new light industrial units and the newly refurbished coach station at Lymington Road, Torquay.

Lymington Enterprise Centre and the coach station were constructed in partnership with Classic Builders. The development forms part of the council's wider plans to improve Torbay's business, employment and transport infrastructure.

The Lymington Road site now features five modern light industrial units and a range of new amenities. The development includes a new coach bay with shelter for waiting passengers. The station provides improved toilets and enhanced lighting throughout the car park.

The development was funded from the Council’s Growth Fund, alongside funding awarded by the Heart of the South West LEP’s Getting Building Fund.

Cllr David Thomas, Leader of Torbay Council, said: “I'm delighted that the development at Lymington Road is now complete. The coach station is a much-improved destination for those arriving in Torbay, and Lymington Enterprise Centre offers superbly finished units in a location where local businesses can thrive. I’d encourage interested parties to arrange a viewing as early as possible to see what the units can offer.

The light industrial units are available for long-term rent with early enquiries encouraged. Floor space ranges from 2,014 to 2,355 sq. ft and rent starts from £1,360 pcm. Tenants have the benefit of being able to design their own internal fit out.
