The Preston Rotary Club is hosting a Charity Golf Tournament at Dainton Golf Club on May 9th. This event will feature 18 holes of Championship Golf in a Four Ball Stableford format.
Throughout the tournament, the two best scores will be tallied on each hole, with club handicaps being applied, with a maximum of 28 for men and 36 for ladies.
Prize giving ceremonies will honour the top three team scores, and participants will be treated to pre and post-match refreshments. Additionally, there will be competitions for the longest drive, nearest the pin in one, and nearest the pin in two.
The event is to raise money for not just for Rotary charities, but particularly for a Torbay Prostate Testing Evening on May 22nd at Livermead House Hotel.
Running between 6pm and 9pm, the event is completely free and all men over 40 are encouraged to visit.
