More than 350 job seekers attending the free event.
It took place at Torquay Town Hall and was organised by TDA in partnership with Jobcentre Plus and Torbay Council.
There were lots of positive conversations, new connections and even some job offers made on the day.
A total of 43 employers across a wide range of sectors such as hospitality, construction, care and retail, showcased hundreds of current vacancies at the event.
Employers included Torbay Council, SWISCo, Mercure Hotel in Paignton, Willmott Dixon, Whistl UK and Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust, to name just a few.
Jobcentre Plus was on hand to offer job application and CV advice, and there was support for start-ups and people in self-employment offered by TDA.
Also in attendance were council leader David Thomas and deputy Chris Lewis, who is also Cabinet Member for Place Services and Economic Growth.
Cllr Lewis said: ‘‘I was delighted to see the Torbay Jobs Fair so well attended. There was a fantastic range of jobs on offer and plenty of opportunities to meet with employers face-to-face. I’m confident that the event will result in many more local people securing new employment and training opportunities.’’
