Brixham's St Margaret Clitherow Catholic Primary School has been celebrating a 'good' rating from government inspectors.
The OFSTED inspection judged everything about the school as being good.
Hannah Maskell, executive head teacher, said: "The whole community are thrilled that the hard work and dedication from the school team and families is paying off.
"The recent OFSTED inspection highlighted everything that is special about our little school. We cannot wait to keep pushing forward, working with our wonderfully supportive community and striving to develop further. We are a unique school and are incredibly proud of our children."
Zoe Batten, CEO of Plymouth Cast, said: "St Margaret Clitherow is a very special school; it is a vibrant school with a strong and inclusive ethos and a family feel. This great Ofsted report is testament to the dedication and commitment of the whole team at St Margaret Clitherow, ably led by Mrs Maskell, and supported by the Local CAST Board of governors and the wider Plymouth CAST team.
"We are incredibly proud of all that has been achieved and are especially pleased to see that the inspection process recognised that our leaders have high expectations and have worked hard to develop a broad and balanced curriculum that stimulates pupils' interests. As a result, our pupils have positive attitudes to learning and are proud of their school."
Spaces are available at the school - contact the school office on 01803 854617 or email admin@smcprimary.org for further information or a tour of the school.
