Bay hosting watersports spectacular
The OCRDA Aqua Adrenaline race series for powerboats and jet ski’s heads to Brixham for the final Round of the season this weekend.
The biggest offshore circuit race series in the UK held Round 1 in West Bay at the end of April. It has travelled the length and breadth of the country since then, and now finishes with a home event for the season decider. OCRDA are based in Kingsbridge and many of the competitors come from the South West.
The boats are divided into three classes, F1, F2, F3 based on engine size, the jet ski’s are also divided into three classes.
The action will take place off Brixham Breakwater with two powerboat and two jet ski races on both Saturday and Sunday. Spectators can get a close look at the boats in the dry and wet pits in Brixham Marina. The course runs parallel to the Breakwater and offers excellent viewing of the racing for spectators.
