It's celebrations all round at the Harbour Rise Care Home in Paignton.
Tasha Wilkins and Zoe Walmsley have just celebrated 25 years working at the home.
They both started straight from school and they have senior positions now. They are only 41 years old.
Directors Mark and Cecile Edwards say: "This length of service especially in the care sector is so rare and we wanted to let people know in the community about this as its so positive and let's people know there are some great role models out there for younger people coming into the care sector.
"Both started straight from school working in the laundry and kitchen on a part time basis and have continued to work at the home whilst raising their families.
"There is nothing that these ladies don’t know about Harbour Rise. They have worked in literally every department, Tasha said the only job she is nervous about is driving the mini bus."
The Harbour Rise, in Alta Vista Road, also recently won the top 20 care homes in the South West. It is the fourth year running that the home has won this award.
Cecile and Mark say: "We are CQC outstanding which is also hard to achieve. We don’t use agency staff and all our staff are permanent and have been with us a long time. We are indebted to all our staff and it's lovely to celebrate Tasha and Zoe’s loyal service at the same time."
The home is raising money for a defibrillator outside of Harbour Rise which will be helpful for people in the Roundham, Paignton area.
A fund-raising garden party is being held at the home on Saturday July 15 between 2.30pm and 4.30pm.
