First win for Paignton Rowing Club's Keira Brueton

The Port of Bideford Regatta, the third regatta in the 2023 West of England ARA ten regatta Championship series, provided clear weather but a gusting variable wind from the west.
However, there were no incidents or capsizes.
The regatta attracted 125 entries which necessitated 47 races over the 1,000 metre course on the river Torridge.
Keira Brueton, of Paignton Rowing Club, achieved her first win at ladies' novice single sculls and also took third place in the ladies' under-18 single sculls. The club also had three second places and a few thirds.
The next regatta is the City of Exeter Regatta on Saturday, July 8.
