An Exmoor holiday retreat is running a national competition to find names for its latest arrivals, a pair of young male Highland cattle calves who are already turning heads.

Lynmouth Holiday Retreat is looking for names for the moo-namic duo, but staff are adamant ‘Cowy McCowface’ is already off the table!

The luxury glamping, lodges and camping site overlooking Lynmouth has thrown open its social media channels and is inviting people to submit their naming suggestions, with the chance to win three nights in one of the park’s Stargazer Geo Domes.

The park reports that even though the boys have only just arrived, they are already proving to be playful, cheeky characters and excellent escape artists.

Ian James, director of the Retreat, said: “Welcoming these iconic Highland calves to Exmoor feels like a perfect fit against the backdrop of North Devon.

“They are already so full of personality and deserve names just as bold as they are. We can’t wait to see the creative suggestions the public comes up with for the newest members of the retreat family.”
