More than 35 entries have been shortlisted for the fourth Exeter Sustainability Awards, sponsored by Stagecoach South West, with the winners set to be revealed this Thursday.

The awards celebrate organisations and individuals making a difference across the city in categories including Community Group, Charity or Non-Profit, School or Educational Organisation, Micro Business, Small Business, Medium or Large Business and Sustainable Hero.

Entries were judged by a panel drawn from Exeter’s business, education and sustainability sectors, who assessed projects for innovation, environmental best practice, climate resilience and community impact.

Shortlisted entrants have been invited to attend a reception at The Cosy Club in Southernhay, where the winners will be announced.

Among those recognised are organisations including Westbank Community Health and Care, Exeter Food Action and Exeter Library of Things in the Community category, alongside a wide range of local businesses working to reduce carbon emissions, promote reuse and support renewable energy.
