From indulgent brunch plates piled high with toppings to budget-friendly stacks, Tavistock is proving once again that it takes Pancake Day seriously.

Across the town, cafés and restaurants are flipping everything from classic crepes to American-style towers, giving locals plenty of choice this Shrove Tuesday.

The Little Corner Pantry

Highly rated and known for its brunch menu, The Little Corner Pantry has launched a special Pancake Day menu at its 30 Brook Street café.

This year’s line-up includes berry pancakes with compote, yoghurt and honey, savoury bacon pancakes with Cornish farmhouse streaky bacon and maple syrup, plus banana, cherry crumble and Biscoff options. 

Prices sit between £8.95 and £9.95, and the café is popular for its gluten-free options.

For those after a more indulgent brunch-style experience, this is one to bookmark.

Granito Lounge

Over at 55 Brook Street, Granito Lounge is offering a simple but cheerful Pancake Day deal.

Fresh pancakes will be served from 9am to 11.30am at just £1 each or £2.50 for three. 

There’s also a toppings station, so customers can customise with chocolate, fruit, honey and more.

It’s an affordable way to join in the fun, especially for families.

Lemon Grove Cafe

A firm local favourite at 4 Duke Street, Lemon Grove Cafe is well known for its stacked pancakes and freshly made sweet and savoury crepes.

Regulars often recommend the pancake stacks in online reviews, and the café is also pet and family friendly, making it a popular daytime stop for walkers and park-goers alike.

Lynn’s American Diner 

If you’re craving a true American-style stack, Lynn's American Diner at 2 Russell Street delivers classic diner comfort food.
