A flood alert has been issued for parts of Devon with further heavy rain forecast to arrive later on Tuesday.
The Environment Agency said flooding is possible along the River Plym, Tory Brook and Long Brook, with river levels expected to rise from around 9pm and remain high overnight into Wednesday morning.
Low-lying riverside areas at Plympton and Marsh Mills in Plymouth are among those most at risk.

Although no property flooding is currently expected, the agency warned that roads, fields and footpaths close to rivers could flood. Teams are monitoring river levels and clearing debris screens ahead of the forecast rainfall.
The alert comes as the Met Office issues a yellow weather warning for heavy rain and strong southerly winds across Devon. Forecasters say the weather could bring difficult driving conditions and localised flooding as the ground is already saturated from recent wet weather.
Between 20mm and 40mm of rain is expected widely, with up to 80mm possible on south-facing slopes of the moors. Gusts may exceed gale force along exposed coastal areas and hilltops.
Residents are being urged to avoid low-lying bridges and flooded roads, and to stay updated by signing up for Environment Agency flood warnings by phone, text or email.
