Your Move Torquay expands portfolio and invests in Torquay town centre relocation

Edward Rose Property Group has further strengthened its position in Torbay’s property market with the acquisition of Harmony Property Rentals’ 150-strong managed portfolio.

The purchase, completed with Harmony owner Anthony Cassidy, follows Your Move Torquay’s acquisition of Team 2 last year and the subsequent rebrand. It brings the number of landlords supported by the branch to more than 640, making it one of the largest lettings providers in the area.

The move is also part of a wider period of change for the business. Your Move Torquay will relocate this October to Torwood Street, a central location close to the Marina, and will launch a new residential sales service alongside lettings.

The expansion reflects the ongoing strength of Torbay’s rental market, where demand has remained high despite national pressures on housing. With more landlords brought under one roof, tenants and property owners in Torbay are likely to see a more consistent service, additional digital support through the Your Move landlord portal, and access to products such as Rent Protection and Legal Expenses Insurance.

The branch’s move to Torwood Street is also significant for the town centre, with a national high street brand investing in visible premises at a time when retail and office occupancy has faced challenges. The launch of residential sales alongside lettings adds further choice for local homeowners and buyers, potentially increasing competition in Torbay’s property market.
