LIVE: Rush hour delays after A380 breakdown

Recovery crews en route as stalled vehicle causes congestion

A broken-down vehicle is causing delays on the A380 in Torquay this afternoon.

The vehicle has stalled on the southbound carriageway of Hamelin Way, near Marldon Road at the Gallows Gate roundabout.

Traffic is reported to be slow-moving, and drivers are being advised to approach the area with caution.

Recovery services are understood to be en route. There are currently no reports of any injuries.

Motorists are being encouraged to allow extra time for their journey or consider alternative routes if possible.

The vehicle is expected to be cleared within the next 30–45 minutes, with traffic returning to normal soon after.
