Barbra Streisand: The Greatest Star has postponed this week's performance at the Babbacombe Theatre due to changes to the performer's itinerary.
The theatre announced yesterday that the show, which was due to take place on Friday, 14 March, has been postponed to Friday, 12 September.
The announcement comes after the star of the show, Kearra Bethany, was delayed from disembarking the ship she was performing on out at sea due to a change in the ship's itinerary.
A spokesperson for the theatre said: "There may be longer to wait to enjoy this show, but witnessing Kearra Bethany, as seen on ITV’s STARSTRUCK, ‘The Greatest Star—Barbra Streisand Tribute Show,’ will still promise to take you on a magical musical journey through time as you sit back & relax to enjoy the sounds of this fabulous ‘concert style’ production."
All ticket holders have been contacted via email with a confirmation that tickets are still valid for the new date. Provisions have also been made for those that cannot attend the revised date.
The five-star performance explores the life and music of the American singer, actress, director, producer, and songwriter and is backed by a live band on stage and guest artists.
