A man in his 80s was taken to Derriford Hospital with injuries believed to be life-changing

Police appeal after serious collision in Torquay

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious road traffic collision in Torquay on Sunday, November 10.

Emergency services were called at around 12.55pm to the A379 Teignmouth Road, where it was reported that a red Nissan Note had left the road and collided with a tree.

A man in his 80s was taken to Derriford Hospital with injuries believed to be life-changing.

The road was closed while an investigation was carried out at the scene.

Officers from the Roads Policing Team have thanked the public for their patience whilst the road was closed.

Anyone with any relevant information or dashcam footage that may assist the investigation is being asked to contact police via their website or by calling 101, quoting log 340 of November 10.
