Amazing weekend for South Devon Gymnasts
Massive Torbay congratulations to gymnast Abi Martin, who has won Gold on the Vault at the Paris World Cup.
In her first competition since competing in the 2024 Olympics, also in Paris, Abi performed superbly to take prize in the Vault and also placed sixth in the Floor event.
Abi is a proud student at the South Devon School of Gymnastics and was part of Team GB in the Olympics, just missing out on the medals in the team event. Now Abi has made up for that by wearing Gold in a prestigious world competition.
The next generation of talent at the South Devon School of Gymnastics also had a busy weekend, travelling to Wiltshire for the Quatro Cup and there were some top results for the youngsters, including three first-place finishes and a whole raft of seconds, thirds and fourths.
