Georgina Scoot a star at Princeton

Georgina Scoot from Torbay Athletic club athlete has just finished her second year competing for Princeton University in the United States, where she has continued to improve with the excellent training and coaching facilities available to her, registering Personal Bests in both long and triple jump on numerous occasions.

The 20 year-old former Torquay Girls Grammar School pupil joined the club as a 12 year-old. Her performances Stateside currently ranks her third in the senior UK rankings for long jump (6.49m) and triple jump (13.26m).

Georgina won her first national title as an under-15 in the triple before going on to win two national titles as an under-20 and was ranked number one in the UK at under-20 level in 2022 and 2023.

Also in 2022, she represented England at under-20 level in the triple. Her highlight this year was winning the Ivy League indoor championships titles in both long (6.28m) and triple (13.03m) She has two more years at University, where we hope she will continue to improve and hopefully gain more opportunities to represent England.
