£5 lottery tickets are on sale across Brixham, supporting local events, VE Day celebrations and medical aid to Ukraine

Brixham Christmas Lottery: £500 prize still up for grabs

Sarari Lottery Winner, Lyn Anderson

If you have not yet tucked a Brixham Lottery card into a Christmas card or stocking, there is still time to join in - and be in with a chance of winning £500.

The Christmas Lottery, run by Brixham Future CIC, costs £5 per card and has just 500 tickets available, giving families and friends buying more than one card a strong chance in the draw. A previous winner, Lyn Anderson, certainly made the most of her Summer Safari prize.

Money raised will go towards a range of local projects and events, including celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of VE Day, free public events in Brixham, and volunteer costs for the Brixham Medical Aid Convoy to Ukraine, which has supported lifesaving work.

The draw will take place on Saturday 10 January 2026 at 7.30pm at Brixham Yacht Club. Everyone is welcome to attend, although meals must be booked directly with the club. Anyone unable to make the evening can find out the result by phoning 01803 852270, with the outcome also shared via local media and online.

Lottery cards are available from several outlets and individuals around the town, including Crafty Cwtch Welsh Café, Colours of Brixham, Flour Flower Café, Dobles Jewellers and The Handyman hardware shop. Tickets can also be purchased via representatives from the Probus Club, United Reformed Church and Brixham Future CIC.

The winner must come forward by midnight on Wednesday 1 March 2026. If unclaimed, the prize money will roll over to the next draw. Tickets cost £5, proof of purchase will be required and participants must be aged 18 or over. Full terms and conditions apply.
