The theatre recently hosted an exclusive media day, capturing some fantastic behind-the-scenes moments and dynamic shots of the cast that showcase just how spectacular this year’s production — Sleeping Beauty — is shaping up to be.
Leading the cast as the Wicked Witch Carabosse is Emma Barton, best known as Honey Mitchell from TYV soap EastEnders, who adds star power to this high-energy, family-friendly show packed with stunning sets, dazzling costumes, and all the magic you’d expect from the Princess Theatre panto!
Returning once again is Michael Neilson, who’s stepping into the dame’s frock for his third consecutive year as Nurse Nellie, bringing his trademark wit and charm to the role. Comic Matthew Curnier is back for his second year as Chester the Jester.
Ross Bibby, general manager of the Princess, said: “We’re thrilled to have Jordan Productions back at the theatre for another fantastic panto season. Sleeping Beauty is shaping up to be one of our best yet – full of fun and the kind of festive magic our audiences love.”
The managing director of Jordan productions, Chris Jordan, said: “We are so excited to be bringing another spectacular pantomime back to Torquay for our third year.
