The Torbay Guild of Artists will once again return to the historic Spanish Barn at Torre Abbey this autumn, with their much-loved Art in the Barn exhibition.
Running from Saturday 11 October to Sunday 19 October, the event showcases the vibrant talent of the Bay’s art scene and offers the perfect opportunity to pick up unique gifts ahead of Christmas.
Visitors can expect a wide variety of work from the Guild’s 90-plus members, including original paintings, ceramics, glassware and artisan gift cards. With entry free of charge, it’s an accessible way for families and friends to enjoy a day out surrounded by creativity in one of Torbay’s most atmospheric settings.
A highlight of the exhibition will be the judging of artworks across several categories, with trophies presented to the winning artists on the opening day, Saturday 11 October, at 2pm.
Founded in 1967, the Torbay Guild of Artists continues to thrive nearly six decades on, playing a key role in promoting high-quality artwork across South Devon. This year’s Art in the Barn promises to be another lively celebration of local creativity.
The exhibition runs daily from 10am–4pm (closed Monday, and closing at 3pm on the final day).
