Torquay seafront fish and chip restaurant Pier Point - which literally took a battering from COVID - is celebrating its fifth birthday in style.
The award-winning business says it has battled through to survive and thrive thanks to its resilience, excellence and its strong links with, and support for, and from the community.
To say thanks and celebrate their fifth anniversary they have announced a special fish and chip 'giveaway' on Saturday July 5.
For one day only, guests can enjoy the restaurant’s award-winning lite bite fish & chips for just £5, available for five hours only – from 12 noon to 5pm – by reservation only and subject to availability.
The date is a meaningful one for the team, as July 5, 2020, was the very day they opened their doors having taken over the restaurant just before the COVID-19 lockdown.

"The past five years have been full of challenges, but also incredible moments. We’ve grown stronger, supported our community, and stayed committed to our values – and this £5 offer is our way of celebrating with the people who made it possible.”
