During the segment, where listeners could speak to various celebrities, Milden boldly pitched  his vision for a Torquay Comedy Club Grand Show to Russell Howard. Although the initial conversation didn't lead to an immediate agreement, Milden's persistence and innovative approach eventually paved the way for Russell Howard's involvement in the Grand Show happening later this year.

Since that pivotal phone call six years ago, Torquay Comedy Club has flourished and established itself as one of the premier comedy destinations in the Southwest.
