Dancing in the Rain with Flashmobbers

Torbay Communities Flashmobbers were joyfully dancing in the rain, with Anne George, choreographer, dancer and magician extraordinaire, along the route of the newly named Hoburne Devon Bay Carnival in Paignton.
We started from Paignton Green and teamed up with Life Care Radio, joining the dancers behind their truck, meeting Buzz Lightyear and Batman to name but a few characters along the way. We stopped outside several care homes to give the residents their own special performance.
The carnival was made possible this year by sponsorship from Hoburne and the amazing energy of Mike Bailey, his fantastic team and his many generous volunteers.
Come and join us at our next Flashmobs at Babbacombe Fair on Sunday 13th August and at Pride on Saturday 2nd September. We will learn and rehearse the easy peasy dance routine on the day, followed shortly afterwards by a pop-up performance. It is a lot of fun!
