Wollens show massive vote of confidence in Bay

Torbay Weekly

Wollens have already played a significant role in building a greater Torbay - and, no doubt there is more of the same to come in the not too distant future.

Wollens are now one of the largest independent legal companies in the region, employing over 140 people with exceptional specialists across private client matters as well as company and commercial law.

They gave the Bay a massive vote of confidence when they moved into super-modern offices as part of the £32 million Torwood Street redevelopment in Torquay.

The regeneration project has totally transformed a prime waterfront area.

And it is Wollens' belief in the Bay - and investing in building in that greater future - that has encouraged other investors from the private sector to do likewise.

Wollens have offices in South Devon, Exeter and North Devon – coast to coast across the county. The business has grown rapidly in recent years with two mergers and a substantial firm wide re-brand.
Chief executive Chris Hart said: Our journey in recent years has been one of expansion and transformation. The most recent chapter in this journey has been the creation of our new purpose-built South Devon Hub in Torquay.

"This development is a significant investment in South Devon, reflecting our desire to create a stronger future for our staff and clients.
"We have integrated our Newton Abbot, Dartmouth and Torquay offices into the South Devon Hub, bringing our staff and clients together in one modern, central location.

"These purpose-built premises provide our clients with enhanced meeting spaces for individual, confidential discussions, group meetings or private functions and seminars.

"We have created an appealing environment for staff and clients. With room for expansion we can continue to attract the best calibre of staff to ensure we offer the best, most skilful level of professional legal services and grow the business further."£

He added: "We pride ourselves on teamwork but we also have individual solicitors who are respected and able to specialise in their own particular field. That is why our mantra is Full Spectrum Law – we are able to offer a comprehensive and full array of services to our clients, putting them at the forefront of all that we do.
"We never lose sight of what’s most important: to provide the best possible guidance in a no-nonsense, approachable and accessible way."
Mr Hart says the secret formula for being a great lawyer is to 'actually listen to your client and take the time we need to get to the nub of the matter.'

He says: "Our client care, feedback and reviews are excellent, and we take care to always gather feedback so that we can be sure that we are offering the best possible service.  We have over 800 reviews on Review Solicitors highlighting our strength is areas of law, value for money and our reviewers say they will recommend us and have been satisfied with the outcome of their matter."£

Wollensoffer a full spectrum of legal services but each area has its own specialist team which means that clients will get the best possible advice and service. Practice areas include Family Law, Residential Conveyancing, Commercial conveyancing, Commercial and corporate Law, Wills, trusts and Probate
