The International Agatha Christie Festival returns to the Palace Theatre, Paignton, for the UK professional premiere of The Stranger, Agatha Christie’s gripping psychological thriller, performed as a rehearsed and costumed reading.
The Stranger is an adaptation made by Agatha Christie, of her short story Philomel Cottage.
This adaptation was made before the 1936 stage play Love from a Stranger adapted by Frank Vosper .
In this fast-moving, witty and suspenseful play, two young women win a sweepstake….but they hadn’t gambled on what would happen next!
