Ten out of ten for Torquay United Ladies

There were only two games played in the Joma Devon Women's Football League due to the stormy weather conditions.

Both were in the Western Division, where Lakeside Athletic booked an artificial surface for their home fixture against Torquay United Development. The Gulls are chasing the title and were glad of the opportunity to play when their rivals couldn't.

United took advantage of Lakeside's forethought and cruised to a 10-0 win. Goals came from a Kelsey Brown hat-trick, two from Abi Scandrett and one apiece for Hannah Rooney, Tash Lister, Leanne Robbins, Laura Lewis and Laura Shaw.

Title rivals Activate were also in action and also collected three points, although not as convincingly as Torquay. A penalty earlier in the game and a last gasp goal gave Activate a 3-1 win over the improving Teignmouth. On target were Katie Haynes, Sam Blake and Angela Heard. Teignmouth replied with a free-kick from Lianne Hamilton.
