Torquay United Supporters' Trust is backing Sports Minister Tracey Crouch's fan-led review into the running of UK football, including proposals for an 'independent regulator'.
If the plans, many of them sparked by the 'Euro Super League Affair', became law, it would have huge ramifications for bodies like the Football Association, the Premier League and all competitions below.
At TUST's recent annual meeting, members also supported other suggestions for pro clubs to have 'shadow boards' of fans with 'golden shares'.
Spokesman Nick Brodrick said: "The report deserves to become the blueprint of football for the future."
TUST have almost 380 members, with the majority of a £55,000 bank account held in 'reserve' in case 'unexpected circumstances' prompt a need to 'step in and save the club, and ensure its survival in one form or another'.
