It is all about League supremacy in the Torbay Weekly predicta competition this Saturday, as we take in some top games from across the country.
Struggling Liverpool follow up the morale-crushing defeat at home to Manchester City with an extremely tough trip to Leicester, a side that continues to impress under Brendan Rodgers.
Manchester City can extend their dominance at the top at home to Tottenham but, despite their poor recent form, this is the sort of game Spurs boss Jose Mourinho should relish.
It is a big weekend for Torquay United in the National League, as the Gulls travel to old friends Woking and it’s now all about building on their lead at the top of the division.
Sutton United are the primary pursuers but they will have a difficult challenge at Play-Off hunting Boreham Wood.
High-flying Stockport should be favourites at home to mid-table Aldershot and the same can be said for Halifax against lowly Dover Athletic.
Can you beat our chief sportswriter Dave Thomas?
LEICESTER CITY v LIVERPOOL – Draw 2-2 A belter, with two classy attacks against suspect defences – Liverpool’s injuries at centre-back have come home to roost.
MANCHESTER CITY v SPURS – City win 2-1 No De Bruyne or Aguero, but City still on a roll and they’ll eventually get to Spurs, even with Kane back up front.
WOKING v TORQUAY UNITED – Draw 1-1 Old rivals meet again, and this could get feisty – Gulls missing Danny Wright but still good enough for at least a point.
BOREHAM WOOD v SUTTON UNITED – Draw 2-2 Wood have re-signed Tyrone Marsh, are back in Play-Off contention and will push Sutton all the way at home.
FC HALIFAX TOWN v DOVER ATHLETIC – Halifax win 3-0 If Dover turn up, after their chairman’s angry resignation from the NL Board, they’ll get little change out of the Shaymen.
STOCKPORT COUNTY v ALDERSHOT TOWN – County win 3-1 County are seldom free-scoring, but new management should improve that department and the Shots could pay.
