Torquay United have confirmed that centre-half Ali Omar will serve only a one-match suspension for his red card at Notts County last Saturday.

Summer signing Omar, who missed Monday's 4-0 home defeat by Woking, will be available for this Saturday's away game at Maidenhead United.

Meanwhile, the Gulls' secretary and media officer Patrick Tinkler is leaving Plainmoor after almost three years in the job.

Tinkler moved up from his media duties to become secretary in October 2018 and he has since combined both roles, also lending his hand to cub radio match commentaries for a period.

There has been no announcement about how the secretary's duties will be handled, but a post of media and communications officer has been advertised.
