Junior anglers have been making the most of the warm autumn weather, with Jason Upham taking his young family to Oddicombe beach Torquay in search of some mackerel.

Using float tactics with Mackerel strips for bait, Maisie, Seren and Madison all caught plenty of fish in the sunshine. Gareth Dellar and son Reef took the walk down to Hopes Nose and, armed with ragworm bait, fished one hook flapper rigs for the wrasse, finding both Ballans and Corkwings.

Stu Lawley and son Jaxon tried different tactics and fished a night session using lugworm on a stinger rig, where Jaxon landed his first Bass measuring 43cm.

Lure anglers are having a bumper time, with Tony White still finding plenty of Bass with his favoured white Senko lure, whilst Jeremy Mantle fished a rock mark, finding plenty of Ballan Wrasse on a 23gmStorm 360 jig.

Will Booth and a fishing pal visited the Bristol Channel, landing plenty of their target species the Thornback Ray. Tom Stebbens visited Chesil Beach, his target being Black bream, again he found plenty of feeding fish. Joshua Webb fished the beach at Budleigh Salterton, where he landed a small Tub Gurnard.

Boat anglers have been finding some good fish, with Daniel Patrick fishing Pollack to just over 10lbs and Nick William, fishing an inshore wreck, found the same species up to 15lbs.

Alan Munday took a trip out to the Eddystone reef, an area which can produce some exceptional fish and a few surprise species, the pick of his fish being a Red Bream of 1lb 9oz and a Couches Bream of 3lbs 12oz. Jo Westlake, fishing out of Lyme Regis, landed a new Honiton Sac record Red Gurnard weighing in at 2lbs 1oz
