Hat-tricks galore in Devon Women's Football League

There were plenty of goals this week with hat-tricks the order of the day!

In the Joma Devon Women's Football League, Western Division, Activate strengthened their grip in top spot with 6-2 home win over Lakeside Athletic.

A hat-trick from Steph Warren, two goals from Kerry Osborn and a single from Izzy Ridout overcame a battling Lakeside Athletic, whose both goals were scored by Rebecca Rose.

Teignmouth travelled to play Halwill FC and found the home in their best form of the season as they banged in ten goals without reply.

Lauren Avenall netted four times, with Chloe Berry and Gemma Garnsworthy both notching hat-tricks.

In spite of the scoreline, Halwill were full of praise for their guests, who kept going until the final whistle.
