So no action in week five for the two Torbay teams - but looking ahead to week six, Torbay Tigers are in action in Division One against K&S Autos at Churston Grammar this evening (Thursday, October 14).

Both teams have one win and one defeat so far this season.

Tomorrow, Torquay Trailblazers take on Newton Abbot Pacers II in a Division Three derby at The Hub, Paignton, with a 7.15pm tip - Torquay Trailblazers have the edge on the league with one win, whereas Newton Abbot Pacers II are still seeking their first win of the season currently with two defeats.

In Division Two, neighbours Newton Abbot Pacers made a huge statement of their intentions with a 114-58 win over Exeter Spartans II with local Paignton man Tom Woods securing MVP with 32 personal points, a result that leaves them on top of the table.

They have a break from the league while they try to get their cup action, sponsored by PRISM Painting and Decorating Ltd, off to a winning start against Exmouth Knights .

Matches are free to watch, and teams would love some local support - please take necessary Covid precautions if attending - to help them gain that win against their opposition. Good natured support is always welcome.

Some games can also be seen on the Exeter District Basketball YouTube channel. Full fixture lists can be found on the website www.exeterdistrictbasketball.org
