With the relaxation of some Covid restrictions, this week marks the long-awaited return for Judo.
Devon’s Judo master John Goldman 7th Dan and his daughter Ruth, a black belt 5th Dan, are thrilled to invite members old and new to the regular weekly classes, now reinstated on Thursdays at Exmouth Leisure Centre. Classes are for youngsters aged 4 to 15.
“Apart from the weekly sessions, there is a full programme of planned events.” said John. “There will be gradings, a residential course, Presidents course and much more.”
Daniel Cudmore, junior activities co-ordinator at the Leisure Centre, said: “We are delighted to have judo back as a regular and ongoing activity. We will be working with John and Ruth to rebuild the timetable of activities for young people.
“A sport like judo is a great confidence boosting exercise, and helps children of all abilities with their physical and mental well-being.”
