Torbay's famous 'Sandyman' has paid his own tributes to the victims of the Plymouth shooting horror.
Geoff Ward has attracted nationwide and international fame with his sand sculptures on Torre Abbey beach in Torquay.
A special spherical pattern was painted into the sand on the beach with the words 'we pray for Plymouth' above it.
It was to remember those who died in the tragedy in the Keyham area of the city last week when gunman Jake Davison killed five innocent people, including his own mother, before taking his own life.
A three-year-old girl and her dad were also among the victims.
Meanwhile, Torbay councillors have responded to the shooting. Council leader Steve Darling said: " Our thoughts are with the families directly impacted by these events and the community of Plymouth who have witnessed the stuff of nightmares."
Opposition Conservative group leader Dave Thomas said: “My thoughts and prayers with everybody who was involved. It’s going to affect so many people and also the emergency crew who were there."
