To celebrate Rowcroft Hospice’s 40th anniversary, a 40 @ 40 corporate club has been launched for 40 companies to pledge to raise £1,000 for the charity.
And, so far, the club has been a resounding success.
Kicking off the corporate fundraising was Absolute Sales and Lettings whose staff ran, paddleboarded, walked and skated between their offices raising an incredible £3,444 for Rowcroft.
Other companies are also challenging themselves physically.
Staff at Beverley Holidays in Paignton are holding a 24-hour dance-a-thon, Teign Trees are walking the Templar Way in fancy dress, PMR architects are cycling 100 miles and Devon Tree Services are rowing 300km in 24 hours.
Some of the 40 companies are putting on events include Bettesworths and Torquay Coastal Distillery.
Devon FA are holding golf days to raise money and Fruition Design held a quiz night.
But Rowcroft still need your help. Could your company join the Rowcroft corporate club?
Alison Upton, philanthropy manager at Rowcroft, said: “Joining the club is a chance to unite your staff teams, meet other companies and challenge yourselves to raise some money.
“More importantly, it means that you will be supporting patients in your local community going through the toughest times.
“We can help you every step of the way and I promise it will be a lot of fun!”
