Police warning after catalytic converters stolen across Mid Devon

In the recent weeks Devon and Cornwall Police have had a reports of catalytic converters being stolen from vehicles during the day and night in Mid Devon.

We are asking for members of the community to be vigilant and report to the police of any suspicious activities.

Organised criminals can remove catalytic converters from under vehicles in minutes.

The advice from police is to park your vehicle in as secure location as possible, park close to walls or fences if possible but remember not to block pedestrian access.

Park in a well-lit area covered by CCTV if possible.

Encourage others in your neighbourhood to take these same steps to secure their vehicles.
