Two more South Devon cricket clubs, Torquay and Stoke Gabriel, will soon welcome overseas players to help with their Devon League promotion bids in the 2021 season which opens on May 1.
'A' Division Torquay would have had former Bangladeshi Test bowler Sajidul Islam playing for them last season, but for the Covid-19 pandemic, and the 32-year-old left-arm pacer will now hope to make up for lost time.
Director of cricket Mike Pugh said that Torquay have been looking for an experienced pro to enhance and inspire their youth policy and he told the league website: "Islam will be quite a handful in the A Division."
Stoke Gabriel (C Division West) expect South African batsman Josh Arendse to settle in quickly.
Arendse was a hit with Suffolk club Long Melford before spending 2019 with Exeter, where his best effort was a knock of 72 against Sidmouth.
