Roadworks have got underway on the Brixham Road as TDA and Midas reach the next stage of developing a purpose-built manufacturing facility at Claylands in Paignton.

The development is funded by £2.04m of the Heart of the South West Local Enterprise Partnership's Unlocking Growth Funding and an £8m Torbay Council investment.

Lane closures and traffic management will be in place for 17 weeks to enable the highway to be developed to provide a dedicated access to the site from Brixham Road.

Currently the inside lane is closed on the Brixham Road, northbound from Yalberton Road to Claylands traffic lights.

Once this work is completed the traffic management will then move to the outside lane closure, Northbound on the same road in approximately four to five weeks.
